Description:

An organization working to help youth of all backgrounds, with special concern for those from disadvantage circumstances, develop the qualities needed to become independent, responsible citizens and leaders. It provides a place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with adult professionals, life enhancing programs and character development experiences.

Services: Activities such as educational games, tutoring, drug prevention, sports and physical education, recreation, arts & crafts, environmental awareness.

Offers fee based programs, before and after kindergarten and after school child care, summer camp and youth basketball league.

Open Door Program: Norwood Branch; Grades 1-5 2:30PM-6:00PM, Oakland Beach Branch; Grades 1-5 2:30PM-6:00PM, Grades 7-12 4:30PM-6:00PM, The CLUB at Cooper; Grades 6-8 2:30PM–6:00PM
Before School Childcare Grades K-5 Mon-Fri 6:30AM-9:00AM
School vacation & Summer Camp 7:00AM-6:00PM

Intake Process:

Call to schedule a meeting/tour with the child care director.

Program Fees:

$30 annual membership fee and $20 monthly program fee. Children who qualify for free to reduced lunch are exempt from the monthly fee (letter from child's school is required)
Weekly Program Rates: Before School $55, After School $95, Both $130 (CCAP Accepted)
Winter vacation camp $130 plus optional field trip fees

Eligibility:

Programs for grades 1-12, Childcare fro grades 1-5 Kindergarteners welcome to join the before/after kindergarten program at Norwood Branch
