Provides nutritious meals in a social setting for elderly (60+) and for handicapped persons under 60. Programs offered are Home Delivered Program, Capital City Cafes, Senior Restaurant, Senior Wish Program, and Pet Food Program. Designated by the Rhode Island Department of Elderly Affairs as the regional case management agency responsible in Providence for elderly abuse protective services, home and community care, home delivered meals assessments and social services. Program Fees:

No Fees. Suggested donations for meals $3.00, for meal vouchers $5.00


Home Delivered Program- 60+ years of age,or holding an approved waiver from eligible waiver programs (DHS, PACE, NHPRI); must be unable to prepare nutritious meals due to physical and/or psychological limitations; cannot participate in an adult day care, or dining program on a day they are scheduled to receive meals; must be homebound and unable to leave their home independently and/or has limited assistance leaving the home. A referral is required for special cirmstances. The referral may be submitted on-line
Capital City Cafes- 60+ years of age, or Handicapped or disabled and living in a housing facility where a meal program is operated.
Senior restaurant- 60+years and have gotten a voucher prior to going to participating restaurant.
