DescriptionNorth Smithfield Animal Control and Shelter is run through the North Smithfield Police Department. The shelter returns animals to owners and places pets into new homes.

Adoption Hours: Please call the shelter at before visiting to ensure that someone will be there to greet you upon your arrival.

Any pet that is spayed/neutered: $70.00
If pet is not spayed/neutered:
Dogs: $45.00 + $25.00 (refundable deposit) + $5.00 (town fee)
Cats: $35.00 + $25.00 (refundable deposit)
