Partners with the community to provide culturally competent supportive services and programs to Providence residents in need to promote their achievement of economic self-sufficiency. Provides home energy assistance (heating/utility assistance), home weatherization, appliance management program (provides education, energy saving bulbs and/or replacement refrigerator/freezer), lead safety program, emergency food, food pantry, distributes federal surplus commodities, employment training programs and information/referral assistance, adult basic education, GED, Individual Development Account program (matched savings account and financial literacy education program), VITA (volunteer income tax assistance) program, volunteer opportunities, Parent Leadership Training Initiative (free 20-week civic and leadership skills development class), summer youth employment and case management.

The Bookkeeping Certificate Program: is a course of study to obtain a Certified Public Bookkeeper license.

Career Closet: provides professional style clothing to residents to help them present their best selves for employment, training and educational opportunities.

Education and Training: provides opportunities for Providence residents to improve their skills.
Food Pantry: is a program that provides food to Providence residents in 02907 zip code area.
Individual Development Account (IDA) (Located at The Elmwood Community Center is located at 85 Atlantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907).

IDA:is a matched savings program to assist saving towards a home, business or post secondary education.

LEAD Safe Providence: Services designed to help relieve issues with lead, mold, or other environmental hazards.
Parent Leadership Training Initiative (PLTI): A free Civics and Democracy Leadership Training program for parents.

Project Undercover: provides diapers, socks, and underwear to children in need.

RI Works: Ongoing case management and social services support for Providence residents.

Rhode Island Home Energy Assistance Program (RIHEAP): RIHEAP provides energy assistance to Providence residents that meet income guidelines.

Senior Services: A program run at CAPP's Elmwood location to provide support to seniors.

Summer Youth Employment Program: An opportunity for youth ages 16-24 to learn job readiness skills while earning wages at a meaningful summer job.

Weatherization: Provides assistance for homeowners to make their home more energy efficient.
