• School to Adult Life Transition Services  [Show Definition Details]

  Description

  Helps students identify choice and make effective decisions about their adult lives, which requires substantial planning. RHD-RI School Services, is committed to supporting students and their families to ensure a successful transition from school based services to adulthood. Works in collaboration with schools, families and host employers to create opportunities that address the goals and objectives embedded in a student’s IEP while assisting them with the completion of their Career Development Plan.   RHDRI offers a full range of Supported Employment Services to Participants who are interested in starting or moving forward with goals of securing or maintaining competitive employment in an integrated setting. They start with the philosophy that each individual at RHDRI is focused on finding a role in their community that is meaningful, supported and positive for both the individual client and the community at large.
